What a fantastic idea, you little activist, you.
I can't see how to vote for you either as Insane said.
Please explain and I'll gladly vote.

I can't help it, I see opportunity everywhere. So, what if you took a few orders to make these ICE hankies? Because I can tell you I personally can't cook or sew my way out of a paper bag.
I'd want to order one for my husband and one for my son.
If I want to order two, and didn't even think I needed them, how many more people do you suppose would want it too, especially after reading your compelling story about your father?
Cha Ching, Ally!
How much do they cost?
email me @ entrepreneurchickrulz@gmail.com
You'd have to get a post office box (never give out your address on the net!) And hmmmm, what if you called your new venture, Do You Have ICE Inside?
I dig it.

I agree with EntrepreneurChick; for many, it would be preferable to just order from you if you had the time to do this on the side versus them running to get the stuff and finding time to do it. Chances are, while a terrific idea,it might become like all the other ideas we run across, lost in the pace of the day. Plus, until you told me about that site, I didn't know it existed. If that's the only place to find your idea, there are many who will never be able to take advantage of it. The more you reach, the less chance someone else will end up in trouble and alone. Good idea, EC!

Thank you for your praise! I don't see myself as a business woman. Anytime I have ever done sewing for money, I lose the joy and end up earning about a dollar an hour. If I did not hand-embroider each letter on them but just inked them, I could probably churn out one in about two hours. Math tutoring is far more lucrative. I think of myself as an artist and creative type with more ideas than time in the day to execute them. I will sell my moth sachets (my second entry in the contest) on Etsy though. Intructables is a cool site where you can learn to build and make things, you never dreamed possible. I think they hold these contests to promote their site. I really want to win the sewing machine. I think the official voting starts tomorrow and runs for a week. I entered a contest two years ago and was crushed when I lost. It would be awesome to win this time especially since the idea came from my heart.

Voting accomplished! Actually, I went back today to see if it would let me vote again since I couldn't find the voting rules. It didn't allow me to though, darn it. I guess it's not like American Idol. lol Good luck! Hope you win.

Aly's all the way in New York and I'm all the way down here in Texas.
I'm going to get stuck, I know it.
Arrrrg.
Anywho... it did occur to me when one factors in the materials and time, you just might end up with a dollar!
But, Insane? What business can I start for you?! Ha. (Thanks for havng my back.)
Also, I voted for you successfully. Let me know how it turns out, Aly. Good luck.
